    excellent location - walking distance to Marina, Singapore river, shopping, metro station just under the hotel, nice shopping mall with lots of restaurants and supermarket in the same building. If you are lucky - great view on city center.

    old, worn out rooms, with a strange smell, furniure and carpet from late 80-ties or early 90-ties. Old crummy bathrooms in most rooms (we've seen several room before we got the proper one). Rooms wer done twice a day but nobody cleaned the dust under the bed and desk during our whole 7-night stay. No adequate bedding for children.

    The hotel and its staff are both very good. It was a pleasure to stay there, the location is very convenient for most places to visit in Singapore and the shopping centre linked to the hotel was a very useful feature.

    I found the hotel insulation is a little on a poor side - you could hear taps running and toilets flushing in the other rooms at night. The internet charges are quite high as well and not complimentary in your room. Other than this the hotel is excellent and is worth staying in.

    Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived at hotel at 6am from airport and wanted to check-in and also for sightseeing info. Excellent location opposite Raffles hotel, close to shopping etc. Recommend to anybody travelling to Singapore.

    Everything was excellent, even if it was for a short stay.

    I liked the location as it was convenient to us at the time.

    I didn't like the fact that the hotel did not accommodate our request for a king-size bed during our stay even though we had requested for one. Had I known our preference would not be accommodated, I would have looked for a different hotel.

    The staff were extremely helpful and were happy to help in any way they could. I sent some clothes to be laundered at short notice and this was dealt with most efficiently. I even received a phone call in relation to a stain on a shirt before it was dispatched. Upon completion the clothes were delivered to my room right on time. There was always someone available to help if necessary. Upon returning late to the hotel during our stay the concierge was there to check room numbers. Gave one a great sense of security.

    Food and drink were expensive and the laundry very much so.

    Breakfast with complimentary drinks including champagne plus delicious snacks and cultural food represented and local cuisine. Well-appointed and nice modern rooms with down pillows👌👍

    Family getaway done right

    The view from our room was out of this world facing the pool and the iconic skyline. On my son's birthday, they surprised us with mango popsicles at the pool bar which just made his day perfect.

    It wasn't inexpensive, but given the experiences, it felt justifiable.
